One amazing Saturday

I just thought this picture of Keili was funny. She just turned on the vacuum and went to town. I was shocked and near ready to throw the child out the door for fear that the ghost who is living in our house (remember... fire alarms. Man in garage. 911.) had inhabited her body. But it didn't seem to shock Nic, so this must not be too out of the ordinary for Keili. Nic was VERY grateful. I thought it was hilarious. After she finished this room she had me carry it downstairs so she could vacuum the living room . Now that I think about it, how big of an idiot am I? I should have coerced her into doing the basement too. Shoot! Here is a Keili funny (as a side note) I was sitting on the couch holding Alex and she wanted to hold him. So I made her sit by me and put Alex on her lap. She was good for like 1 second then started to spaz out and be too rough so I told her to stop or I would take him away. She didn't. SO... I took him away. She full on gives me this dirty look, and goes (in a SNOTTY voice) "YOU ARE MEAN! (stares me down for a minute) I am going to the hospital to get a baby and YOU CAN'T HOLD HIM!" LOL! I was dying. I'm all... "And... you just think you are going to go in and steal a baby that you can't even carry out?" LOL- kids are funny. Now her name is "keili the baby stealer".

THEN.... introducing.... (drum roll please)....
TAHNEE THE COUPON NERD!!!!

Okay. This is actually kind of funny. So.. I get up early Saturday morning to go use some good coupons and get stuff for Mo Mo's b day party. Plus, they had Kelloggs cereal on sale at Smiths for 50% off. Sa-WEET!!! So... I am on my way there. Mindy calls me and tells me that in the frosted flakes boxes of cereal are coupons for cereal and other breakfast goodies. SO.. I get there. I buy 4 boxes. Go out to my car. Open them up. Pull out the coupons. SCORE! There are some sweet coupons. (See... coupon nerd) NOW... the cereal was all like $1.38-$1.65 on the sale. The coupons I just got out of the boxes were $1 off a box of Kellogg's cereal. Plus other various ones too. So... I go back in. Yes, excited, like it's Christmas cause again.. coupon nerd in action. I buy more cereal with my coupons. Then I proceed to shop. I bought everything you see on this table. I paid full price for NOTHING! Oh... that's a lie. I paid full price for the birthday candles. I go out to my car and unload. Then the, once again, greedy coupon nerd inside me says "coupons. Inside new cereal boxes. HELLO!" So.. I open those boxes to obtain the new coupons to go back in the store (for the 3rd time. in a row.) and buy more cereal. With the coupon, I was getting cereal for like $0.38-$0.68. That is amazing!!! So... yes, I walk my pride-less self back in the store, get 2 more boxes and leave. I could have done this all day long. Well at least until the kicked me out, banning me from the grocery store permanently. How awful. So, I exercised a little self control and left. Then I couldn't get home fast enough to show Nic what I had done, and tell her the funny story of opening cereal boxes in my car, getting out the coupons and going back in to buy more. 3 times. LOL! It was amazing.

Total for the shopping trip (drum roll....) $29.00!!! HECK YES I ROCK!!!
